We spent a night in one of the rooms above the pub. It was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was both huge and tasty. The pub had a nice atmosphere in the evening, and their Sunday lunch was lovely.

Our last stop on the 2018 Scotland tour, and a stay that was well worth it. The host was lovely, the rooms decent, and breakfast was among the best we had on the trip. Thank you.

I don't usually write reviews, but the owners were a friendly, welcoming couple and really enjoyed my canny, uncanny sense of humour. The bar service and the patter were both excellent, and the accommodation was outstanding. Definitely recommend.

I had a superb five night stay. It was just what I needed while I was in Annan, with a very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel also put on a wonderful reception tea for a family do. I'd stay there again.

I only went to the bar, where they didn't mind my puppy assaulting the other guests, so we had a couple of drinks. The bar area is nicely appointed and prices are decent. I'd go back again 😀
