The hot tub was definitely a highlight, and there’s a brilliant local pub nearby for food. The house is spacious and beautifully done, smart but still relaxed and comfortable, with generously sized rooms. We had such a lovely time and would definitely recommend it.

A good place to stay with kids, with large bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of parking. If you plan to cook, bring your own gear: there were only three very small pans, very few blunt knives, and no salt or pepper. We’d visit again.

Stunning place, but it gets chilly in winter, so bring slippers and a hot water bottle. You’ll need to bring your own salt and pepper too.
