The only downside was having to go home! Greg showed us how everything worked when we arrived, and the cottage was spotless, with a lovely welcome cake and flowers. Even the dog had a welcome gift. The hot tub and garden were excellent, and Bee (the greyhound) loved the dog field. We made the most of the meals Lou cooked for us. Every dish was delicious, portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. The cottage was perfect, and Greg and Lou made our stay so lovely. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Greg and Louise were fantastic hosts, and their dog Rufus was a delight to meet. The room was comfortable and beautifully appointed, with a lovely ensuite. Louise made a generous, sumptuous breakfast at home. I can’t recommend the stay highly enough, and didn’t want to leave.

We visited in our motorhome a couple of weeks ago and are still talking about it. The site is beautifully laid out and presented, and the welcome was lovely. We’ve never stayed anywhere like it, it’s magic, and we’ll definitely return to this CL. There were thoughtful extras, including towels and soap in the shower room. Another hut had basic groceries, homemade jams, chutneys and pickles, plus food options in case you’d forgotten a meal. Fresh croissants and meals could be delivered to the van, and there were other options to tempt you back.

The warm welcome made this feel like home from home and set a high standard for my future stays. The hosts were great, and Rufus the dog was a charming character. We loved every moment and I highly recommend the place. I hope to stay again soon! Ben & Charlotte
