I slept better here than I have in a while, thanks to those really comfy beds. The rooms were clean, the food was good, and the hosts were amazing. It’s a lovely hotel. If you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend it, especially for the price, which is very cheap.

It's a traditional guest house style hotel, and the hosts' warm manner made the stay feel personal. They were kind enough to make a breakfast sandwich for my daughter. Honestly, it was one of the best sandwiches she'd had in a while.

Joe was a fantastic host and very helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. The room could use a good freshen up, with new handles on some doors and drawers. The mattresses were substantial, but much too soft for us. Wishing you well.

Our host looked after us well, and we had a pleasant stay in this traditional guest house style hotel. Some of the furniture looked dated, and the place could do with modernising. I'd gladly book here again.

I stayed for one night, so this doesn't represent the establishment in its entirety. Anyone in hospitality can have an off day, and nobody sets out to give a poor experience. I was welcomed warmly and had a clean, comfortable room with an en-suite and the usual tea and coffee facilities. My veggie breakfast had all the full English components apart from bacon and sausage, and they gave me extra to make up for those. A nice, clean, friendly place to stay. Recommended.
