We paid £15 for a full hookup at the pub stop Campervan Aire. We arrived at about 8.30pm and could still get food, which was okay, just average bar food. They also gave us a voucher to use for breakfast the next morning in the post office tea rooms.

We had a brilliant evening with the local people and the owners at this terrific pub. The Guinness was great. We stayed in our campervan with EHU for £20, and got a £10 food voucher back, which we used for breakfast. It was a really quiet night. I'll definitely return once I've recovered.😊

The place is beautiful and surprisingly big, like the TARDIS, and feels very homely. It's in a lovely setting, though a little out of the way. We had breakfast on Sunday morning and the food was just okay. We might come back for an evening meal.

Geraldine and her staff looked after us so well at our Christmas party night at basil shields. The venue was just right, the food was amazing, and both the roast beef and turkey and ham dinners were top class. The service was just as good. Thank you.

We got there late, just as the kitchen was about to close, but they stayed open for us and kept smiling. The food was tasty and reasonably priced.
