We spent a week here with two friends in October. The weather stayed dry and mild, so we got out on the water, kayaked and swam in the loch. The accommodation was in very good condition, with snug, comfortable beds and everything we needed. The heating wasn’t working when we arrived, but Nelson responded quickly and fixed the boiler. There’s only a small shop for essentials, but you can order freshly cooked pizza on Saturday evening. The haggis pizza was delicious, and we ate it by the loch at sunset. It was easy to head out on day trips, with plenty to see and do. A really relaxing break and well worth the cost.
