I was here for a three-day first aid course, not as a hotel guest, and the staff brought us tea, coffee, and sweet treats each day. They were friendly, and the location has plenty of parking. The decor felt clean and modern, with lots of seating by reception. The same look continued through to the restaurant, with rooms and other facilities between the two areas.

The furniture in the rooms feels old, maybe it hasn't been changed in 20 years, but the staff were friendly and the stay was enjoyable. The lobby is cozy and nicely decorated, and parking was easy. Although the hotel is beside the main road, the windows kept the noise out well. We’d suggest offering a little more variety. We had a great stay otherwise.

This was my second visit, and again the staff didn’t feel very welcoming, apart from the older woman in the restaurant. The family room was a good size and the lifts were small but usable. It’s a decent three-star hotel, but I won’t return.

The one thing that bothered me was the lack of plugs or charging points beside the bed. Otherwise, this was a great business stay, with welcoming staff, a varied dinner menu, and a really good breakfast. I’d happily come back when I’m in the area.

We were travelling as a tour group. The buffet meals at breakfast and dinner were all delicious, and the coffee was good too. Staff were very friendly. Our rooms were practical, though the TV and bathroom fittings looked a little dated, and the beds were on the small side.
