The service was really good for our works Christmas do. We had a table booked for ten, and the staff were polite and happy. The food was very good too, and I really enjoyed my delicious burger. Thank you all, and Merry Christmas.

The rooms are very spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, and the bar cozy with a nice selection of local beers and wines. But the Christmas dinner disappointed me: it didn't seem freshly prepared, and the service felt rushed. I'd recommend eating somewhere else.

We arrived late and on the spur of the moment while walking the North Downs Way, but the staff got us checked in, showed us our room and still made sure we could get a meal. The food was great, and there was a good choice of drinks at the bar. Lovely setting and location too. We’d definitely recommend it and come back.

The service was friendly, though surprisingly slow given that the place wasn’t busy and there didn’t seem to be many staff around. We’re local and came in to eat. The food was okay, but I felt it was pricey for what we got. The £16 sharing platter, for instance, wasn’t much bigger than a single portion, and my chicken main was dry.

Those portions were generous. I had the Sunday roast chicken with all the trimmings, and it was fantastic. I’ll be back soon.
