We loved how peaceful Hameldown cottage was, and it was clean, cosy and comfortable. It’s a drive or a walk to shops, pubs and restaurants, though none felt too far by car. The cottage is lovely and generally well equipped. An air fryer would be a handy extra. We had a fantastic stay at Long Barn Holiday Cottages in North Whilborough, Newton Abbot, Devon.

There’s loads to keep the kids busy, including a huge football pitch, and the pool is great. It’s a lovely, quiet spot. We’d visit again.

We come back every year because we just love it here. The location is handy, with most places we need to get to about 10-20 minutes away. The accommodation is cosy and really nice, and there’s plenty for the kids, from the indoor play barn to the outdoor play area. The swimming pool is well kept too. Thanks for all the great holidays and memories.

It’s a brilliant place for families, with a lovely indoor pool, a playbarn inside and a great outdoor play area. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished and well equipped, and the location is great too.
