The bed was comfortable, and after arriving on a chilly, wet day, I was glad the heating was already on. The Manger at The Old Barn in Bethersden felt so cosy and welcoming that I wondered if I’d walked into someone’s home. I felt like Goldilocks! The hosts had thought of everything for breakfast, including fresh bread, butter, eggs, cereal, yoghurt and milk, plus biscuits with the tea and coffee. I liked being able to choose between a bath and a walk-in shower. The kitchen was fully fitted with everything I needed, including a washing machine and ironing board. I’ll definitely stay again.

A clean, quiet place for a good night’s stay, with great parking right beside the barn. They have a cooker and microwave, so it’s worth bringing food with you.
