The lodge was comfortable and the surroundings beautiful, with lots to enjoy on site: a swimming pool, spa, children’s play areas, walking routes, and an enclosed area for dog walking. We stayed two nights while visiting the area and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice, with either a full Scottish or continental option. It’s cooked fresh to order, so there can be a bit of a wait, but it’s well worth it. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was clean and tidy, with a little cafe area beside it if needed. We hope to return with family next year.

I come back almost every year. The lodges are lovely and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. It works well as a base for seeing the many local sights, or for switching off with nature right outside. There’s a gym and swimming pool if you want to burn off some energy, and the restaurant or bar is there when you don’t feel like cooking. Tip: bring bird seed and watch the birds and red squirrels tuck in.

Catriona was wonderful, helping us with the rooms, our questions, taxi numbers, and even an early check-in. She couldn’t have done more. The hotel is gorgeous, the service was fabulous, and the welcome felt so warm. What a lovely part of Scotland, and what a great example of how service should be. Highly recommended 🙌

Our one night here was amazing, though definitely too short. The room was brilliant, the setting stunning, and the staff were chatty, friendly, and cheerful. The food was incredible and the drinks sublime. We enjoyed gin at the bar along with other drinks, then bought two bottles on the way out because the distillery was unfortunately closed, possibly due to storm damage. My girlfriend loved the venue as much as I did. We even used the pool, sauna, and steam room the next morning after checking out, which was a nice touch.
