It was my first time staying in a motel, and we were only there for one night. I was impressed by the quiet, the free parking and the useful room features: a big bathroom, comfortable bed, TV, hot drink facilities and plenty of power points. Axbridge has a few pubs and restaurants about a 10-minute walk away. Cheddar is further in the other direction, but very close by car. I’d stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere with more character than the usual hotels, which can all feel much the same.

My friend and I spent three days on holiday at the Reservoir Motel. The room was clean, fresh-smelling and tidy, and the owners were welcoming and friendly, always happy to chat or help. Thanks for your kind hospitality. We’ll come back and recommend the place to others :) Gosia and Magda

Fine for somewhere to get your head down. It’s quiet and clean, and Cheddar Gorge is only minutes away. The wooden floors were a bit loose and noisy underfoot.
