Our engineer couldn’t get a shower, a morning brew, or breakfast, and had to drive around looking for a cafe. We’re now seeking a refund, and he’s asked us never to book this property for our engineers again. The towel in his room was on the floor behind the bathroom door and covered in what looked like excrement. He also found the fridge absolutely disgusting, with a terrible mould smell, and the blinds broke when he tried to close them. He stood on a chair to try to fix them. There was no milk for a brew in the morning either. Booking.com showed breakfast included in the price, but when our engineers went down, they were rather rudely told there was none for him because it had to be requested the night before. He hadn’t been told that at check-in. The feedback I got this morning was awful, and we’re highly disappointed.

I paid £96 for one night, with no breakfast, and that was way too much. The room was dirty, hot, dark and dingy, with no air conditioning. It also seemed like the place was being used as a halfway house. Glad I only stayed the one night. It needs updating and redecorating. Do yourself a favour and don’t go. I really don’t get the good reviews.

We slept really well after a busy evening at the “Bath Halls” last night. The room was a bit warm, but there was a fan. Beds were comfy, everything was clean, and there were lots of bottled waters and some nice little touches in the room. The continental breakfast list had a huge choice, too. Check-in is available 24 hours and there’s parking outside. Really chuffed with the stay.

I’d booked four nights but left after the first morning. The corridor smelled awful, the rooms were really dark, stuffy and boiling hot, and the bathroom was disgusting, with a broken shower and rusty taps. A green light in the room was so annoying I couldn’t sleep properly. The place felt shady and dirty, nothing like the fancy-looking photos, and not welcoming at all. I left the keys at reception that first morning. I couldn’t put up with the smell or the atmosphere.
