Paul deserves a special thank you. He made sure I was settled in and did everything he could to give me a peaceful, lovely stay. If anything goes wrong, speak to him, he was so helpful and accommodating. The apartment was warm, spacious and felt homely. I was there for work and will definitely book again when I'm in Scunthorpe. The location was great and the staff were great too. There are some challenges while the place is being refurbished, but I'm sure it'll be a super hotel before long. Thank you, Paul!

I paid £60 for a room, which seemed reasonable, but couldn't even get into reception. There was no receptionist, and I couldn't check in at all. A complete waste of money. I won't book here again.

The whole place needs demolishing. The breakfast was cold, the coffee was awful, and the staff were rude. Worst place I've stayed. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

From outside, the hotel looked rundown, with broken windows and bits falling off everywhere. I didn't even get out of the car. It looked like a dump and didn't feel safe, so I went to find somewhere else. There really aren't words for how run-down this place is.

The towels were changed every day, and the price was low. The hotel also has a lot of potential, which makes its state such a pity. We chose it through a "buy a gift" box because it was near the sea, and breakfast was supposed to be included. When it was time to eat, though, we were told there was no breakfast anymore, which was very annoying. Our room wasn't in good shape, the shower wasn't clean, and the window did nothing to block the traffic noise. The hotel was in a horrible state, and it was tough to stay there. I don't like being negative, but the owner has a beautiful expensive car and doesn't seem to care much about the hotel or its guests.
