Hills Farm Stays

We had a cosy, clean, comfortable place to stay, and the food was great, especially Christmas lunch. The staff were fabulous, helpful and engaging. Over Christmas we found it an ideal short break, with a great location just a short drive from Lyme Regis. Very good value, and we'd certainly visit again. Thank you Hill Farm Stays !

The dogs appreciated having the bark parks on sight, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning. We stayed for one night and found the room clean, lovely and equipped with everything we needed. Steve was welcoming and friendly, with plenty of helpful information about the farm and surrounding area. We'd definitely return.

We slept really well in the very quiet area. Our upstairs room had lovely character, a large shower and a feature bath. The whole venue was spotless, with evening dining and a stylish outside bar. Breakfast was great too, and the staff were the nicest. It starts at 9am. I saw a negative review before writing this, but it doesn't match our experience at all. The location is perfect for exploring, and the bar and restaurant add to the comfort. We'll definitely stay again.

The staff were lovely and the food was great, which made the state of the rooms feel like a real shame. The farm and surrounding area are pretty, and from outside the place looks amazing. Inside, though, the carpet was filthy and torn, the wall was stained, the lamps were broken and the curtains were wrecked. The shower also didn't drain properly. Everything felt old and badly in need of renovation. The bed and bathroom seemed clean enough, but the place looked only superficially cleaned, with dirt and dust tucked away where more effort was needed. It has a lot of potential, but the rooms felt lazily and superficially maintained. Overall, quite disappointing.
