The Old Art Studio

The garden bench was a lovely spot for quiet birdwatching and stargazing, and the area has pleasant walks as well as easy access to the Jurassic Coast, with Lyme Regis just a 15-minute drive away. We loved our stay and would happily come back. The Old Art Studio is peaceful, bright and spacious, with tasteful decor and a view over the garden. It’s a self-contained place with its own entrance and parking, plus a cosy open-plan living and sleeping area. The kitchen has a combi oven, double electric hob, mini fridge, crockery and utensils, and there’s a table for four, a big sofa and comfortable beds. The new en-suite bathroom has a huge shower and underfloor heating. Everything was spotless and felt very Covid-safe. The fireplace, with logs provided, was a real treat in the evenings. Sara and James were friendly and helpful throughout, and sorted out a booking issue extremely well. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We’d give the place 20 if we could. P.S.
