Common Leys Farm

Allie and Doug are lovely people, and we had a quiet, peaceful stay on the touring caravan site. There's a large grass field for pitching in summer. The amenities are close by, with clean, well-kept toilets and a wet room. Both had hot water, and the shower is gas heated.

The hunting lodge was immaculate, roomy, and beautifully decorated. The copper bath was even better than the pictures suggest, and my 6'2 partner and I could both relax in it with a drink. The bed was really comfortable, and the tea and coffee facilities were useful. We brought snacks too. We had other plans, so didn't get to enjoy the room as much as we'd have liked. I was glad we happened to be there during one of the open shoots: the professionals were friendly and helpful, and the guidance made it a fantastic addition to my partner's birthday weekend. He enjoys shooting, and I surprised myself by hitting far more clay pigeons than I expected. I can't wait to plan another visit to the farm and just relax. I'm not usually keen to return to places, but this one has me wanting to come back. Thank you, Doug and Allie, for creating such a warm, beautiful place to retreat. A lovely little place tucked away in the countryside. Clean and comfortable, with a bit of panache, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. We had a nice self-catering room for a very reasonable price.

The farm is so peaceful and not too far from Oxford or lots of other places of interest. This was our second stay, in the hunters lodge room, and it was spotless, with a fantastic design and lovely theme, including a copper bath. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
