The Great Tythe Barn

The team at Great Tythe Barn made us feel cared for all the way through, even with so many weddings taking place there each year. The wedding day itself ran smoothly, and any problems were dealt with straight away so we could enjoy it without stress. Poppy was our main contact and made planning from abroad easy, with video tours and calls, quick email replies, and an open-minded approach. She and the team helped us personalise the day, use different parts of the venue, and adjust the layout to fit our plans and styling. They even followed the bride's very detailed decorating plan precisely. Because we live abroad, having many guests stay on site made it a cosy place for our wedding. Guests could stay in Great Tythe House, the cottages, and B&B rooms, which gave the weekend an intimate, relaxed feel and was a lovely way to welcome everyone to the Cotswolds. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped, and the orangery in the big house became a lovely gathering spot. Great Tythe Barn was everything we hoped for and more. The team at The Great Tythe Barn went above and beyond from our first meeting, making the wedding planning and the day itself seamless. My husband and I had the best day ever, and we're so grateful for the memories they helped create for us, our friends, and our family during our two-night stay at the GTB. The venue, accommodation, and staff were all wonderful. The sun even came out for us in April, so we got to enjoy the beautiful grounds as well as the barn. We had a wonderful day at the wedding and really enjoyed our stay. The service during the event was excellent, and the Great Tythe Barn seemed like a perfect wedding venue. Our accommodation was spacious and spotless, with a lovely walk-in shower. The room looked out over the countryside in a quiet courtyard among other cottages. Tetbury's location felt idyllic, in a very pretty Cotswolds village. The breakfast room was small but just right, with a glass roof and outdoor seating. Breakfast was continental, with everything we wanted: cereal, yoghurt, fruit, toast, croissants, pain au chocolat, tea, coffee, and fruit juice. We'd highly recommend it. Thank you!

As soon as we saw The Great Tythe Barn, we knew it was our wedding venue. We had an incredible day from beginning to end, and our guests complimented the beautiful setting so many times. Staying on site the night before made setting everything up easy, and staying the wedding night let us spend longer with family and friends.
