Some of the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way for you. The rooms are comfortable, but the bedroom furniture is old and worn and needs replacing. The hotel itself also looks tired and could use some care. Breakfast is hit or miss. The cooked food sits on a hot plate and can get dry if it’s been there a while. I wasn’t impressed by the dinner options, though the chicken and rice bowl is first class. Drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel, while the laundry facilities are a bit overpriced. I’d give it 7 out of 10.

We’ve stayed at Mercure Hotel several times and have never had any issues or concerns. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They’re also understanding with our oldest son, who has autism, and that makes our holiday special. It’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Thank you all at Mercure Hotel!

I’m here for work at the moment, but I’d gladly come back for a holiday. It’s a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, a fabulous breakfast, and friendly staff who are always happy to help. One of the best places I’ve stayed, with comfort and a personal touch.

The hotel was spotless throughout, including the bedrooms, and clearly very well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, the food was tasty, and it was good value for money.

We were four people on a road trip and came back to the hotel after dinner hoping to have a drink at the bar. Instead, we got trapped in the elevator and had to be freed by the fire department. Bartender Donald kindly kept the bar open a little longer so we could recover from the shock. Thanks, Donald!
