The Fox & Willow

The food was superb and the staff were brilliant. They were thoughtful and really helpful as they helped me surprise my daughter at lunch. Meeting my daughter's fiancé and my four-month-old granddaughter for the first time made for a day I'll remember. I couldn't fault the visit and will definitely return.

We enjoyed our birthday meal in one of the fairy-lit Domes so much that we came back two days later for our 39th wedding anniversary, this time eating in the restaurant. Both visits were wonderful, and the staff went above and beyond each time. Everyone in our group would recommend The Fox & Willow, whether you're marking something special or just going for a meal. The Dome was a magical treat for the whole family, from my 10-week-old grandson, who loved the twinkly lights, through my 10-year-old twin grandsons, to my 82-year-old mother. My daughters had booked it as a surprise after we spotted the lights in the car park the evening before my 60th birthday, while we were on holiday. There was a huge choice of food, including gluten-free, vegan and children's menus. The portions are large across the menus, and the food was excellent. Prices felt very reasonable for the quality and quantity. If you're in Ayr, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

The kids loved the little frying pans of gravy, and their picky plates went down well too. We had a family meal in a dome, with comfy seats and a lovely atmosphere. Service from both the bar and dining staff was friendly, efficient and excellent throughout. There were plenty of gluten-free choices when we arrived at 5pm, and we could choose from the menus. The food was good quality, including the children's meals, and prices were great. For eight of us, with seven starters, chicken and chorizo lasagne, fajitas, Cajun chicken, crepes, bangers and mash, roast chicken, cocktails, soft drinks and mocktails, the bill was under £200. Can highly recommend.

We had a warm pod despite it being 3 degrees outside, and the service was great. I visited with my family on 12/02/2025, and we all had three courses with a few small food changes. Everything was presented really well. My favourites were the teriyaki beef spring rolls, meatballs, fillet steak and sea bass. All the desserts we tried were fantastic too. I can thoroughly recommend The Fox and Willow, and I'll definitely be back 👍
