The guest house is in a quiet, lovely road with plenty of parking, while still being really central and convenient. Sinclair and the whole team were so friendly and welcoming. They’d thought of all the little details, including lovely homemade cookies, and breakfast was out of this world. Thanks to everyone at Lochinver. I’ll definitely be back!
The host was welcoming and always ready to help, and breakfast had a good choice of options, all prepared expertly. The guest house felt warm and had thoughtful touches in the room. It was easy to walk from there to the train station, the city centre, and the beach. I’m so glad I found this place and hope I can stay again.
We had the lovely Cunningham room, with a really comfortable bed. The hotel’s period features are beautiful, and the location couldn’t have been better. The owner and the waiter at breakfast were both friendly and helpful. We tried the Tudor Grill and Bar for dinner after it was recommended the day before, and it was phenomenal. Breakfast was the best we’ve had at any hotel or restaurant. This place is a real gem. We’ll be back, thank you!
Lochinver Guest House is peaceful and relaxed, in a lovely part of Ayr that’s still central. My room was comfortable and breakfast service was spot on. They’ve thought through all the details that make a stay enjoyable. I can’t wait to return and would definitely recommend it.
Sinclair and Margaret were especially helpful, and their recommendations were much appreciated. It was our first time in Ayr, and Lochinver Guest House was a superb place to stay. The location, accommodation, host, and staff were all excellent. There was a great range of buffet and cooked breakfast options, and everything was delicious.
