Beechwood

The price was good for somewhere so close to the airport, and our warm room had plenty of breakfast items. We were glad to have them, as it saved us looking for food at the airport before the flight. The owner was helpful and brought a hairdryer, then even found me a hairbrush when I'd forgotten mine. We arrived late on Sunday for a very early flight, and the signs weren't great, so finding the place was a bit difficult. I called and got helpful directions. There's nowhere local to eat in the evening. Uber Eats had trouble finding the property too, so if you're arriving on a Sunday, I'd suggest finding somewhere to eat on the way.

I got a burn on my arm from the heated towel rail when I brushed against it getting out of the shower. It's very close to the shower door, and I can only have touched it for a split second. The burn will scar. I emailed to alert them for the sake of future guests, not to make a fuss or ask for a refund, but they haven't replied at all. I'm grateful my daughters weren't burned and that it didn't affect our holiday, but I'm disappointed by the lack of response and concerned about other guests' safety.

We had a great night's sleep and have booked again for when we get back from holiday, then again for July. It's warm, tidy, clean and quiet, with snacks and drinks included, and leaving the car here while we're away is great service. I wish I'd known about this hidden gem sooner. It'll be our regular place now. My wife and I had a lovely night, and it was our first stay. Shaun & Leanne

A really good spot for a night before a holiday, with a great shuttle to and from the airport and no waiting around. The room was fantastic and clean, and the staff were friendly. Leaving the car there worked perfectly. Highly recommend.
