The remoteness and the good company were part of what made this stay feel worth the price. I spent three nights at this warm, friendly, cosy and comfortable hotel, arriving as the first autumn storm was at its height. The storm couldn't spoil the magnificent view south. The food was excellent and local, and there was a wide wine list.

The restaurant was lovely, with high-quality food, and the owners and staff were genuinely friendly. I especially liked the little extras: tea with cakes and scones, plus packed lunches. The hotel sits above a beautiful bay, too. It was such a lovely place to stay that I’m planning to come back. Will

The gardens overlooking badcall bay were stunning, and the beautiful building had a cosy, romantic feel. We had a wonderful couple of days at Eddrachilles. Every meal was outstanding, and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back!

We only stayed one night at Eddrachilles Hotel on the North West Sutherland coast, but the hospitality made a strong impression. We arrived late, after dinner service had mostly finished, and the staff still arranged a meal for us. The receptionist was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room was spotless, and the small hotel felt charming and cosy. Dinner was delicious, with excellent restaurant service. From the garden, little paths lead down to the shoreline for a peaceful walk among the coastal views and unspoiled nature. We even spotted seals there, which made it feel extra special. The care and attention to detail made us feel looked after. We’d happily recommend Eddrachilles Hotel to anyone travelling in the area.

The food was fabulous, and Emma, our waitress, went out of her way to make the stay special. Richard and Fiona have thought of so many little things, like towels for drying a dog's paws and complimentary afternoon tea. I also loved the lovely gardens and the great range of local whiskies. Honestly, everything about my stay was wonderful.
