We woke to the smell of croissants warming, and the bed was comfy. The rooms were spacious and quiet, and the whole stay felt easy and relaxed. Elizabeth and John made us feel so welcome, with tea, coffee and biscuits waiting in the garden when we arrived. We were in the area for a summer gig at Westonbirt Arboretum, then had some spare time the next day. They'd already helped us think through transport, logistics and things to do. Elizabeth showed us around the garden, and my husband was delighted to take a flower cutting home. Such a lovely little break, and much needed away from our toddler!
They even booked me a table at the local pub for dinner, and there was a safe spot for my vintage motorcycle overnight. Parsonage House is a lovely B&B in the countryside. Elizabeth and John were great hosts, welcoming me with tea and chocolates. My room was spotless and really comfortable. Breakfast came with fresh fruit salad, pastries and good coffee. I'd happily recommend a stay.
Highgrove, Bristol Aviation Museum, Bristol Docks, Tetbury, Castle Combe and Cotswolds Sculpture Park were the highlights for me. There’s plenty to see around here, so I’d suggest staying a few days. The location is beautiful and central to lots of places of interest. The hosts were wonderful, generous and always ready to help, and both the rooms and property were clean and very well presented.
