We had a lovely stay and would happily return. The house is in a nice neighbourhood, with lots of pretty flowers outside to enjoy. Our room was small but comfortable and had its own bathroom. The host was friendly and accommodating, and the included breakfast was a nice way to start the day.

In a quiet Brockley neighbourhood, St James' Guest House has a homely, peaceful feel. The hosts were warm, friendly and attentive, ready to help with requests or suggest local places. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with the amenities needed for a pleasant stay, and the house was beautifully kept with tasteful decor. Breakfast each morning was delicious. A lovely option for comfort, good service and a relaxed atmosphere.

The guest family were really friendly and helped whenever I had questions. There were enough restrooms during my stay, so I never had to wait, and they were clean too. The guesthouse is in a quieter area, which meant I slept well without much noise. With the London Overground and Jubilee line nearby, it was quick to get into the centre and back again. I had an excellent stay and can only recommend it.

I’ve stayed at this guest house twice and had a wonderful time both visits. It feels very homely, and being a little further from central London made for some welcome peace and quiet. The hosts are helpful with any questions, and the house and garden views are beautiful. Bathrooms were sparkling clean every day. There’s a grocery shop and tube station nearby, and I had no issues at all. Thanks for making me feel so welcome and for all the care you put into giving me a great stay.
