The location is brilliant, with Bakewell close by and plenty of walks starting right outside. The cottage itself was disappointing, though. There was no information pack, so we had to figure things out ourselves, including the heating. The bathroom and kitchen weren’t very clean, and the cookware was very basic, so cooking from scratch would be difficult. The garden was awful too, and I wouldn’t want to stay here in summer.
