The hot tub was a lovely way to relax, with a nice view, and the Cow Shed itself felt cosy and peaceful. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen had all we needed. Bakewell, Matlock and plenty of walking and sightseeing spots were close by. We had a perfect stay and would definitely come back soon.

A lovely cottage with easy, fairly gentle walks starting right outside. The log burner was wonderful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s spacious and thoughtfully set up for guests with limited mobility, with level access, a wet room and two downstairs bedrooms.

The kitchen was very well equipped, and the powerful shower and lovely freestanding bath were highlights for us. It’s spacious accommodation in a handy location for families. We really enjoyed our stay.

We booked before Christmas and the whole house had been decorated so beautifully for the season. It’s a great base, with Youlgreave a short walk away and Bakewell only a short drive. Such an amazing place to stay!

We had a lovely time, especially enjoying the hot tub. The cooking facilities could have been better, though.
