Black Knowe, Luxury Glamping, Ballycastle

We had such a restful, peaceful stay at Black Knowe and only wish we'd given ourselves more time there. The pods were cozy and comfortable, and waking up to the view outside the front door was a treat. Our hosts were kind and quick to respond. We'd absolutely recommend a stay here if you're in the area.

The farm animals nearby were the highlight for us, especially the goats, alpacas and donkeys. It was an unforgettable stay, and pretty much everything we needed was provided.

Such a peaceful, special visit with our six year old daughter. The pod was clean, warm and cozy even at the start of November. They'd thought of everything, from milk, biscuits and treats to alpaca food and sparklers. It's a beautiful setting, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. 10/10.

The kids loved their little bunk space, though it could get hot in warm weather. A lighter, low tog duvet in the bunks might help, but using the fan on the second night did the trick. We brought camping chairs and a small table and were glad we did. The pod still had everything we needed, including lovely toiletries and a great little bathroom. We especially enjoyed the animals, clever pod design and grounds, and the surroundings left us feeling properly relaxed. We bought the continental breakfast package for four and the smores package. Both came with enough food and supplies for two days, with some left over. Great communication from the host too. We'd booked fairly last minute through the cancellation list, so we're very grateful we got the holiday. We'll definitely be back!
