The Old Manse B & B

We had a lovely family room with comfortable beds and chairs, and an amazing shower. The coffee machine was a nice extra, and we enjoyed having a little balcony for some fresh air. Our host was friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was great. The location and comfort were both five stars for us. We walked to a local pub for dinner and went to the beach the next morning. We’ll definitely be back!

Some rooms look out to sea, where you can catch the sunrise. The main street is only about a three-minute walk away if you want somewhere to eat dinner. It’s a lovely, romantic place to stay, with wonderful hosts and a pretty good breakfast. Go for the Ulster fry and you might not need lunch!

The place is very close to the beach, and you’re well looked after. The breakfast is delicious and homemade, with freshly laid eggs. Out back there are hens, a friendly rabbit and a couple of dogs. The facilities are well presented, and the people I met here were among the friendliest I’ve come across.

Mark, the owner, was very friendly, and the family room was perfect for us, with two separate sleeping areas. It was spotless. We loved meeting all their animals too, they’re so cute. We had a wonderful stay, thank you. Matt and Melissa.
