The rooms, beds and bathrooms were really lovely, and finding the place and checking in were both easy. The catch is the pub downstairs: there was loud outdoor noise from what seemed to be the beer garden until very late, as other reviewers have mentioned. It's a guestroom above a pub, so that's part of the setup. It could suit someone planning to be out late who wants a comfortable place to return to.

The pub downstairs was a lovely stop too. We chatted with the owner, and the regulars were warm and friendly. As NJ natives, we especially liked the back bar and all the Bruce Springsteen photos. We only stayed one night, but it was excellent for our family. We arrived early and they fitted us in right away. The staff were super friendly, and the rooms had recently been updated to a luxurious standard.

We really enjoyed our short stay in Cushendall, such a beautiful town, and would definitely come back. The breakfast at the cafe was lovely, parking across the road was handy, and everyone we met in the bar was kind and friendly. The guestrooms were gorgeous, very nicely decorated and clean.

We booked for four couples and every one of us was impressed by the beautiful rooms. The detail stood out, right down to the softest towels I've come across at a hotel. Staff were so helpful, and the bar prices added to a great weekend. Had an excellent stay and will definitely return.

Sambo's a legend, and his son, Lucy, is running the show. If you're a hurling person, put this on your bucket list. Best company, best pint, and best location. Five stars.
