Browns Country House

We spent our honeymoon here and had a wonderful stay. The building and grounds are beautiful, and the hosts were so friendly that nothing seemed like a bother. Each morning’s freshly cooked breakfast was just what we needed to get the day started. We’d definitely come back.

The room was quiet and comfortable, and Jean had thoughtful little extras like cotton balls and q-tips. Their home was a perfect place for us, and I loved getting to chat with Jean and Sam over breakfast. I’ve stayed at B&Bs all over Ireland during my many visits, and this was my favorite by far. Jean and Sam were so warm and personable. I’d broken my wrist the day before, and they were genuinely caring and concerned. Jean and Sam even emailed after I got home to see how I was doing. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Brown’s Country House. You’ll be welcomed by two exceptional hosts, and you won’t regret staying.

We spent three nights here over the August Bank Holiday weekend. You’ll need a car to reach the local attractions, but the B&B is in a good location. The hosts, Jean and Sam, were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The Irish breakfast was just what we needed to start the day.

Sam and Jean were lovely hosts, and the house was clean and lovely. Our en-suite bathroom was very spacious. We had a car, so the location worked well: it’s peaceful and away from Portrush’s bustle but close enough to drive into town. During the annual air show, everything was packed, but Jean even managed to get us into the hotel for supper.
