The Old Vicarage NI B&B

We’ve stayed at the Old Vicarage twice now, and we’re already looking forward to another visit. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the sea view is stunning. Christa is such a kind, thoughtful host and was happy to accommodate us. Breakfast was fantastic too, especially the homemade wheaten bread, which I’ve become obsessed with. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The location was so peaceful, and only about 10 minutes from Orange Tree House. Robin Abbeydale taxi picked us up and was excellent in every way. We were there for one night with our family of six for our son’s wedding at Orange Tree House in Greyabbey, and the stay couldn’t have worked out better. Christa made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. She let us leave our bags before the wedding and gave us keys since we wouldn’t be back until after midnight. After all the excitement, it was lovely to sink into such a comfortable bed. Our room was spotless, and the house felt luxurious while still having plenty of charm and character. It was beautifully maintained, with thoughtful details throughout. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, served in a lovely room with a wonderful view. Christa was warm and friendly, and the house was a tranquil place to come back to after the wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Christa was amazing and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed to get going for the day. The property is lovely inside, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Fabulous location too. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The harbour views from our room were lovely, and the room itself was really comfortable. My husband and I stayed one night at The Old Vicarage and had a wonderful time. It’s a beautifully cared-for home in a perfect setting, with a nice walk right outside. You can even swim, if you’re brave enough to face the winter ocean! Christa looked after us so well and was a perfect hostess. Breakfast was delicious and cooked just right. I’d definitely recommend The Old Vicarage.
