The breakfast was fantastic and really high quality, though having to order the night before could mean some food went to waste. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and we got a warm welcome despite arriving on a wet night. They don’t serve evening meals, but were happy to lend plates and cutlery so we could bring back a takeaway from Banchory. A brilliant stay close to Banchory, I’d recommend it.

We had a lovely couple of days here. It felt like being with family, thanks so much to Rob and his lady. We’ll be back soon.

The host was really accommodating and upgraded me to a room with an ensuite at no extra cost. The room was clean and had tea and coffee facilities.

The Strachan Clan’s home, and what a place to stay. It was unbelievably nice, with a very good breakfast too. 11/10.
