We unfortunately arrived after dark, so missed the sunset views across the fields, which I imagine would be beautiful. The room was excellent, very clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. We had a warm welcome at Sunset House and a really relaxing stay. Breakfast was tasty and had something for every taste. Andrew was a lovely, friendly host, and we’d definitely recommend this gorgeous guest house.

I was there for work, so didn’t have much free time, but the attic room made a lovely place to unwind. The sunset views were amazing, it had every comfort I could think of, and I slept well. With just three rooms, each named rather than numbered, the guest house feels peaceful and homely. The only thing I’d mention is that breakfast was earlier than I’d have liked. Andrew was cooking and serving on his own, though, and the food was delicious. I just wasn’t hungry enough at 7am to enjoy it properly! A lovely little place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere in the Thetford area.

We stayed for two nights and will definitely be back to Sunset House in summer. The house is beautiful, with lovely surroundings and a great location. There are plenty of pubs and takeaways in the village. Our room was bright, cosy and spacious, with everything we needed and a very comfortable king size bed. Breakfast had lots of choice and was lovely and filling. We also appreciated the attention to detail. Andrew was a perfect host and gave us plenty of information about the village and nearby places to visit.

Lovely rural spot, with stunning countryside views and the village centre close by. It feels luxurious for a great price, and local attractions are within reach. The host and breakfast were both great.
