The hot tub was a real bonus, and my girls loved it. There’s a park right beside the lodge, too. It was beautiful, very clean, and had what we needed, though there was an ironing board but no iron. The beds were so comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great few days here with friends. There’s plenty to do on site, with a games room, pool and hot tub, and shops and places to eat are only a short drive away.

We loved the view of the horses in the neighbouring paddock, and the lodge has a huge garden with a fire pit. The rooms are generously sized and it’s stocked with everything you might need. It’s set on an estate near woodland walks and a little town, with Zip World close by, a must for children. Bring your swimsuit for the hot tub!

We had such a good time in this fantastic house and would love to come back. It’s tucked into the hills, with great walking and cycling nearby and other lovely places not too far away. A couple of outdoor bits, like the BBQ extract, need attention. We also found the wood-fired hot tub tricky to use and get ready, and if it gets too hot it could be extremely dangerous, so it needs supervision.

We were lucky enough to have both the main house and the lodge. They were clean and tidy, with stunning views, and there was a lot to enjoy: hot tubs, a swimming pool, a sauna and a covered BBQ area. Can’t recommend the place enough!
