Cranbrook Lodge is in a lovely spot near the coast, great for a walk or a run. The bedroom is lovely and extremely well equipped. This was my third visit. I’m often here for work and too busy for breakfast, but when I do have it, I can vouch for how amazing it is. Steve and Ann feel like friends now. I’ll be back soon and can thoroughly recommend a stay here. Angela

The owners are lovely, and the cooked breakfast was superb. There was a great spread of fruit, cereals, breads and croissants, too. The B&B is beautiful inside, and the room had everything you could want. Fantastic shower. I can’t give it enough stars, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

We arrived on Easter Saturday for one night, and Steven showed us to a beautiful room with a great view. He was friendly and helpful, and explained the scenic walking route into the town centre. It was so peaceful and clean, and the breakfast was amazing, with loads of choice and plenty of fresh coffee refills. The best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. We’d really recommend it to anyone visiting Bangor, and we’ll definitely return.

This was really disappointing when I visited a friend. The “cottage” was a granny flat above a garage in the property owner’s backyard. We weren’t allowed to use the garden, and there were no outdoor facilities like a BBQ or a place to sunbathe. It basically felt like we were trespassing. Nothing like what we expected, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’d rather have pitched a tent on the beach.

Sam and his wife were a pleasure to meet. Their house is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It was super clean and very comfortable, a better experience than a five-star hotel.
