Penny and Mick made us feel so welcome during our lovely few days at The Spinney. We had a beautiful cooked breakfast each morning, and their restaurant suggestions were great. They also gave us helpful advice and tips for the onward journey. We couldn’t have picked a better B&B, and I highly recommend The Spinney if you’re lucky enough to visit this lovely part of England.

The hosts made us feel right at home and were incredibly welcoming. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and breakfast was delicious with a good range of choices. The Spinney is a real hidden gem.

The hosts were very friendly, and breakfast was a generous full English. They’ve only recently taken over this historic property from the previous owner, so it feels like they’re at the beginning of a journey. I can imagine it becoming the sort of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

My granddaughter and I stayed at the Spinney Country Guest House for two nights and three days. Our room was immaculate, and the food was restaurant standard. Penny & Mick couldn’t do enough for us. The only downside was not staying longer. We’ll definitely be back with the rest of the family in tow. X
