The Beach House

The house and location were perfect for our girls' weekend. The bedrooms were beautiful, clean, and fully stocked with amenities. It's a short walk to the stunning beach, and the local shops have everything you need. Getting into town is easy too if you fancy afternoon tea. The owners are accommodating, quick to help, and happy to answer any questions.

I keep coming back to this place, and I always feel happy here. It's easy to get lost in the moment, with such peace and quiet, while still being a short drive from Rye for a drink or special food. Honestly, it's almost perfect. I'd give it 100/100 if I could stay forever. The house has everything you'd expect in a kitchen, plus three big, bright, clean double bedrooms. The ground-floor room has two single beds that can be joined, a sofa, table, storage, and a handy little shower room with toilet and wash facilities. From there you can get to the communal garden. Upstairs is a spacious open-plan living room with a lovely balcony and another way out to the shared garden. The next floor has a full bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin, and heated towel rail. There's also a large double room with a king-size bed, clothes storage, and a Juliet balcony. At the top, the master bedroom is bright and roomy, with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin, and heated towel rail. The heating is a clever feature: it uses geothermal and solar energy, with underfloor heating on every floor, so your feet never get cold.

Georgina left homemade mince pies, a really thoughtful touch. We spent a relaxing Christmas break in this lovely eco house, which was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It's close to a lovely beach.

This is our favourite place to stay when we come to our favourite beach in England. It's cosy and feels like home, with clean rooms, super-comfortable beds, and a relaxing atmosphere. Rye and Dungeness are both well placed for visits from here.
