Steve came to our rescue at short notice when a positive Covid test forced the place we'd booked to cancel. Even though a major refurbishment was under way, he found us two warm, cosy rooms and made us a full English breakfast every morning. We had a wonderful stay and will come back next time we're in the area.

Green Bank really helped us out. I'd booked the room for the wrong dates, but they cleared a room that wasn't being let so my family and I could stay. It's a lovely, roomy place with very friendly people. I'd stay again if I'm in Barrow.

The owners were welcoming and helpful. They suggested some excellent local restaurants and took care of booking tables and taxis for us. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a nice view over the garden.

My friend and I had a great stay. Our host was kind and helpful, and the room was huge, clean and had everything we needed.

I spent a long weekend here. Steve, the owner, is a great bloke, polite and really helpful, and the breakfast was great. He also suggested places to eat and local spots to visit, including Barrow Park, just two minutes away.
