The kitchen is a real surprise, with loads of fridge and freezer space for guests’ food and drinks, plus cookers, microwaves and all the kitchenware you’d want. There’s also a cracking lounge and a nice garden to sit in. My room was nice enough, with a comfortable bed, which matters, and a well-appointed bathroom with a terrific shower. Fantastic place for a few days, highly recommended.

The place is spotlessly clean, with a friendly welcome and great facilities for a week’s stay and self-catering. The big kitchen has plenty of cooking options, plus your own shelf in the fridge and cupboards. My room was immaculate, but it had no tea or coffee making extras. It never really warmed up, and the lightweight quilt didn’t help. The bathroom was really cold, with no radiator, though that may just have been my room. There was no body wash or shampoo either. If you expect a hotel room, you’d be left short. The TV is small and the Wi-Fi poor. Good value overall, just bring your own things; it’s a self-catering place, and the price reflects that.

The location is top notch for my work around the country, and this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. Great place, with a comfortable lounge and a kitchen that has everything you need.

The shared kitchen, dining room and TV lounge work really well, with free tea and coffee. There are two jobs and two ovens, plus fridge and freezer space for each room. Parking is ample, and there’s EV charging if needed. The rooms are clean and tidy; I’ve stayed twice, and both rooms were en-suite. Value for money is 10/10. I’ll certainly use West Point again.

A good spot for a quiet weekend, with useful self-catering facilities, a nice shared lounge and outdoor areas. Everything was very clean and tidy, and the simple, comfortable rooms had good beds.
