The Haven Inn

The bar staff were so friendly, and the place was very welcoming for dogs. I had a lovely weekend stay. My room was warm, clean and just the right size for me and my dog, with a hot shower, coffee facilities and a TV. The dog bed and bowls were a thoughtful touch. I opened the curtains in the morning and could see deer in the field opposite. I didn't try the restaurant because dogs weren't allowed in that area, but I ordered food from the bar and it was delicious, with such big portions that I couldn't finish it. There was plenty of parking, and I'd definitely stay again.

We had dinner with friends who were visiting from Lichfield. The food was excellent, as it usually is, and our waitress was friendly, efficient and knew her stuff. She was a real credit to herself and to The Haven Inn.

The staff are genuinely lovely, and this is a brilliant pub if you're bringing a dog. There's even a doggy menu. I hadn't been in for a few years, but the food is incredible. We'll be back soon, thanks!! 😊

The food was good as usual and the staff were polite, but we left disappointed with where we were seated. We'd chosen the restaurant on the Mother's Day booking form and expected its lovely, cosy atmosphere. Instead, we were put in the function room, where the tables were crammed together. We couldn't get to our seats without asking the people at the next tables to move in, and the room felt much less warm than the restaurant.
