Premier Inn Basingstoke Town Centre

Bobby was great when I asked to move rooms and needed a fridge for my meal. The whole team was helpful, and my room was spacious and in good shape. It was very cold when I arrived, though it took a while to warm up. I was pleased with the stay.

This may be the nicest Premiere Inn I've been to. It suited the reason for my visit perfectly, and there were plenty of parking spaces. Bobby greeted me and was pleasant, polite and very helpful. After we'd eaten in the hotel's Thyme restaurant, he even took time to chat with us. The place was clean and friendly, with a good atmosphere.

The food was the best I've had at a Premier Inn, perhaps helped by the manager's background as a restaurant owner. Rooms were immaculately prepared, and the hotel is handy for Basingstoke town Centre. The dining room and bar do the job, though they could feel cosier. Parking nearby is limited. There are a few on-street spaces, but you'll need to get up early to feed the meter, unless you find one of the handful of spaces in the hotel car park. The hotel's good enough that I'd recommend it very highly. I'd give it five stars, except that the Basingstoke location is the one thing that detracts from the hotel.

Right in the centre, and the room was clean and tidy. I don't often write reviews, but Bobby's fantastic, welcoming help made our visit that bit better, especially as we're both from out of town. Thanks!
