Margaret and John made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed the outstanding breakfasts, and the quiet setting was just right for relaxing. The hospitality and whole experience were top-class. We'd happily recommend a visit and return ourselves. 10/10.

Breakfast was a real highlight, fresh, hearty and beautifully prepared, with welcoming, knowledgeable hosts who can point you towards nearby places. The countryside around Groarty House & Manor is peaceful, with lovely views, and the property was spotless and well cared for. My room had a comfortable bed, kettle, tea, coffee, milk, TV, a nice shower and fresh towels. I had a wonderful stay at Groarty House & Manor in Derry, with a warm atmosphere that made me feel at home. It's a great base for exploring the historic walls, museums and cultural spots, while enjoying a quieter setting. If you're driving, parking is available. The property is a little outside the city center, so plan public transport routes ahead. Bring a camera or take a quiet walk to enjoy the scenery. Make time to sit down for breakfast. I'll be back again.

The hosts were friendly, kind and hospitable, and breakfast was delicious with loads of choices alongside the basic fryup. The room was comfortable, with an incredible view over Derry. Definitely worth a look if you're planning to stay and explore the city for a day or two.

A safe, good B&B if you're after somewhere without luxury. It's an old-fashioned sort of place, with standard rooms and breakfast, and the price seemed fair. We liked the location for getting into Derry easily and for heading west.
