The vaults were a highlight for me. You can hang out there, watch films, have a laugh and meet other guests. The hostel also runs different activities, so it’s easy to feel included, and they even cooked for everyone. The pizza I had was delicious. It’s the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the facilities felt clean and comfortable. The showers are roomy, and it’s nice that some are for women only.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels, and this one has a lot going for it. The location is just what you need. There’s a distinctive basement space where you can sit, watch Netflix, play music and try the unusual instruments. I really liked it. There isn’t enough room to lock your suitcase away, though the staff can help with that.

The owners, Aris and Kate, are lovely and make sure everyone feels comfortable. The whole place has a cosy, homely feel, and there are social things on, like group walks and pub crawls, without losing its relaxed vibe. It’s right in the middle of Bath, next to the Abbey, and about a 10-minute walk from the bus and train station. Best hostel in England, in my view. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone after a laid-back, sociable stay. I know I’ll be back someday :)

I was only here for one night, but I got to join some of the events they’d arranged. It was a lovely chance to meet both staff and other guests. The shared spaces are great, with loads of seating and things to do, and the staff were friendly. I’d happily recommend this hostel if you want a social stay without a party atmosphere.

A beautiful place to stay, and absolutely worth the money. It was cheap too. You’re right by the centre, with lots to do nearby. Even with people coming and going, the staff stayed calm and were very helpful. This place deserves to be up there with Bath’s other attractions. Highly recommended.
