Breakfast in the morning was astonishing, and it kept us going all day. Grove Lodge is a stunning Georgian house, and Giovanni and Mary are lovely people. Our Roman suite was faultless. It was an unforgettable stay, and we’d definitely return. Thanks so much for looking after us.

Giovanna and Mary were wonderful hosts, and our stay at Grove Lodge was perfect. The Roman suite was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Parking was a five-minute walk away, which was fine for us. Really good value, and we’d definitely come again.

The breakfast arrived, and somehow the weekend got even better. Giovanni and Mary clearly love what they do, and that comes through in how much their guests enjoy it too. Their kind offer to pick us up from the station, the homemade cookies, divine pillows and unique design all showed that the details matter. Just perfect. My husband and I had exactly the weekend we wanted at Grove Lodge.

Giovanni and Mary made us feel so welcome, they’re warm and gracious hosts. I loved having a separate sitting room for extra space, and the bedroom and bed were incredibly comfortable. The Chinese Suite also looks out over a lovely rear garden. Breakfast was excellent. Best B&B I’ve ever stayed in, and I’d absolutely come back.

We’d happily stay again and will be recommending Grove Lodge to our friends and family. The Georgian room was stunning and had everything we could want, including amazing homemade fudge. It’s a beautiful house run by a lovely couple, with a scenic riverside walk into town.
