Getting into the town centre was easy, with buses just across the road and a pleasant 10/15-minute walk as another option. Tyndall Villa was easy to find and had ample parking. The welcome was excellent, and the staff were friendly and polite. We liked the decor and feel of the place, and our comfortable room had everything we needed. The bed and bedding were excellent quality, and we slept very well. Breakfast and the breakfast room were excellent too, as were the staff. The Villa made for an excellent stay. We'd highly recommend it and would certainly return on our next trip.

We found it great value for money, with a very friendly, polite and professional team. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and the bathroom was modern. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was excellent. The location suited us perfectly, about a 15-minute walk into the city centre. The walk back is uphill and might feel strenuous to some.

Room 12 spoiled our mini break. It was small, with furniture in odd places that made it awkward to move around, and there were no coat hooks. The tea and coffee supplies were stuffed into a corner wardrobe. Worst of all, there was no privacy. The window faced the B&B entrance, car park and busy road, and the thin, light curtain was easy to see through. Nobody was present at reception during our stay, so we couldn't raise these problems. The room wasn't worth what we paid. We'd had a great time in Bath before, so it was disappointing. If you're after a good B&B, I'd consider Leighton House - Boutique Guesthouse up the road. We'd stayed at Leighton before, and it was a far better experience.

The breakfast was gorgeous, with lots of pastries, fruit and juices, and the facilities were good. I also didn't expect the underfloor heating, which was a bit of a luxury. The shower door kept sliding open by itself, though it wasn't a major issue. The location was perfect for visiting Bath centre. It was a beautiful place, but it felt more like a hotel than a B&B and lacked that welcoming B&B feeling. Breakfast added to that impression: they just asked for our room number and told us to sit down. Our room was extremely warm, so we used the air conditioning in December. The walls and ceiling seemed paper thin. We could hear people walking up the stairs and past our room as if they were in with us, and the person above snored so loudly they could have drowned out an orchestra. You expect to hear neighbours snoring, but not the people upstairs. Parking was awkward because some guests blocked each other in due to the lack of spaces, then had to be asked to move their cars while they were having breakfast.

It could use a bigger sign outside. I missed it and had to get out to find the place. Once inside, the room and bathroom were clean and nicely appointed, and the dining room was lovely. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. I arrived early enough to get a parking space. It's a short walk into the city centre. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.
