Premier Inn Livingston - Bathgate

We had a quiet, pleasant stay over three nights, and there’s plenty of free parking, though the car park was full each evening. The hotel is out of the way, but Edinburgh isn’t far. Toby carvery is on site, while the Premier Inn itself only serves breakfast. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. One thing to know when booking: not every room has had the “Next evolution style” upgrade, even though the website says “new evolution rooms.” That should be made clear.

The stay was really comfortable. The room was very clean, looked brand new and was super quiet, with a comfy bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to do whatever they could. A shout-out to the lovely blonde lady who found me a phone charger!

Our refurbished room was very comfortable, and the stay felt well worth the money. Kama gave us a warm, genuine welcome at reception, and every member of staff at the Toby was delightful and helpful, especially Chelsea. The location is a bit out of the way, but it worked well for an early business meeting nearby.

The view over fields and hills was lovely, and at £52 for a Sunday night it felt like amazing value. I was there for one work night. The staff were really friendly, and the room looked modern and almost new. Bathroom looked good too, but the shower pressure was disappointing. No dinner service, though breakfast was good.
