Beara Lodge Glamping

Watching the sunset from the balcony was a highlight. We were two adults with two small children, and the peaceful, pretty setting made for a fabulous stay at Beara Lodge. The tent is arranged for outdoor living, with seating and a BBQ. Beds were comfortable, and it was nice to get the camping feel while still having a toilet and shower. Sarah and Dean were great hosts. We’ll plan another trip.

Everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I stayed with my two little ones and we had a brilliant time. They’d thought of all the details in how the lodge was set up. The balcony gate was especially helpful, as it let the kids roam safely, and there were children’s books, toys, and high chairs too. It would work for a family or for adults looking for a break. I’d definitely recommend it.

The hosts were so helpful, thanks Dean and Sarah for a great break. You walk through a little wood to reach the secluded safari tent, which was finished to a high standard inside and out. Towels and bedding were clean and provided. There’s an electric hob, wood burner, shower, BBQ, and firepit, so we wanted for nothing during the stay.

A lovely base for seeing Devon and Dartmoor, with comfortable, tidy tents and plenty of lovely space around them. Great for groups, especially with a barbecue and the chance to sit out and see some stars.
