The kids had loads to keep them busy, from the playhouses and football goal to riding their bikes around, and they got to help feed the animals too. The owners were lovely, and even pointed me towards local shops when our dog lead broke. Our hut was spotless, the beds were softer than any hotel beds we’ve tried, and parking was close by so we didn’t have far to carry everything. There’s also a handy little shop and seating outside each hut. We’d booked a short, relaxing nature break without knowing quite what to expect, but had such a good time that leaving was a disappointment. We’ll book a longer stay next time.

Matt, Sophie and their family made us feel welcome straight away. We’ve just got home after a really relaxing stay, and can’t find anything to fault. The bright huts were lovely and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, shower room, and linen and towels provided. It’s the best shepherd’s hut we’ve stayed in, and we’ll definitely return.

You get a lot for the price: a clean, compact hut with a toilet and shower, towels, TV, basic plates and cutlery, plus a fridge, hob, barbecue and bench. It’s glamping, and I’d happily go back.

The setting was beautiful, with wildflowers and pens for goats, sheep and pigs, and the coast and several tourist attractions were easy to reach. Matt was a great host and made us feel at home. Our shepherd’s hut was clean and tidy, with a good kitchen area, shower and toilet. The beds were comfortable too. We had a fantastic time and didn’t want to leave. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we’re back in Suffolk.

The kids loved exploring the field and woods, then getting a tractor ride and meeting the baby chicks. Matt made us feel really welcome. Our hut was sparkling clean and had what we needed for a comfortable stay, and the site is well placed for sightseeing around the area. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
