I needed a restful night off after having a baby, mostly to catch up on sleep, and the team went above and beyond. Luke had stocked the room with chocolate and self-care items before I arrived. Olly and Julienne were so kind and welcoming when I arrived and at checkout, and really personable too. They made the stay extraordinary. I can’t thank Luke, Olly and Julienne enough. They’re a credit to the hotel, and I hope management knows how stellar they are. Thank you!!!

The evening meal was served from 6.30 pm, with a decent choice, and it came out nice and hot. The staff were friendly and I had what I needed. My room could’ve been a bit warmer, but overall it wasn’t a bad stopover.

Breakfast was included, and both the rooms and service were good. The railway line runs right beside the hotel, though the noise wasn’t too bad. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

The beds were comfy, and the rooms were clean and well looked after. The staff were brilliant, and I got a good night's sleep. Great service.

For an overnight stop, this place was just what we needed. The room was clean and well equipped, and we didn't hear traffic from the main road or trains from the nearby railway. Staff were friendly and efficient, and we got a warm welcome. There’s a petrol station next door with an M&S local for odds and ends, plus a bar with outdoor seating where you can get food and drinks. Dinner was simple but tasty, and the buffet breakfast was very good too. For the price, it went beyond what we expected.
